After redirecting its efforts to typhoon response last year, the Eureka Masterclass Series of The UPLB Com Arts Society is now ready for its comeback this March 19-21.
It will feature workshops on Zine Making, Digital Marketing, and Online Theatre Acting to be given by the organization’s proud alumni who are now seasoned professionals in their respective fields.
Writer and Educator John Daryl Alcantara will hold the first workshop titled “Small Pressing Issues: Alternatibong Paglilimbag sa Panahon ng Neoliberalismo” on March 19 at 7-10 PM.
The second day will feature Certified Digital Marketer Elizele Odigie’s workshop on “Digital Marketing Raket 101: How to Start Digital Marketing and Grow Your Raket” at 3-6 PM.
Tanghalang Pilipino Actor Eunice Pacia will close the three-day event on March 21 at 7-10 PM with “Teatro Kuwadrado: Theater Acting Online” that aims to capacitate aspiring theatre actors who now have to perform under the constraints of the pandemic.
“The UPLB ComArtSoc will continue to provide an alternative learning venue on the different areas of communication, especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic poses pressing challenges to education.” said John Peter Angelo Garcia, event head of the Eureka series.
Aside from the said workshops, a donation drive will also be launched through Eureka for the benefit of farmers in Hacienda Yulo, Laguna. Donations will be accepted via the following bank accounts:
