Held recently at the SM Mall of Asia, Music Hall and broadcasted live via the Infinix Mobile Facebook page, the grand finals of the PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup saw the skilled players of team UTG survive the rigors and outlast 15 competitive teams across three matches to take home the crown and the P500,000 prize pool.
UTG played well and consistently posted top finishes across all three matches in the grand finals, playing well into the late game and finishing third in Matches 1 and 3, and sixth in Match 2 to score a total of 56 points. Coming in second place was Playbook Esports with 41 points, and Bisayang Dako came in third with 37 points.
The PUBG Mobile Infinix Cup grand finals was the culmination of several legs across the Philippines, with stages in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Scores of teams all competed in these legs for a shot at the half-a-million-peso prize pool.
Alongside the grand finals, Infinix also held a Grand Event for fans present at Mall of Asia, which featured Infinix ambassador and actress Andrea Brillantes, as well as a four-on-four exhibition match which included online streaming personalities Cherizawa, Rojean, Aningning, Bela Joyce, Sang, Buunja, Virgo, and Vigor.
