ABS-CBN’s newest “Wansapanataym” special starring Vhong Navarro, Carmina Villarroel, and Louise Abuel titled “Nato de Coco” debuted as the most-watched Sunday program in the Philippines according to data from Kantar Media last Sunday (August 3).

“Wansapanataym Presents Nato de Coco” scored a national TV rating of 26.5%, or almost eight points higher than its rival program in GMA “Ismol Family” (18.6%).

Meanwhile, “Wansapanataym” will double up the fun and adventure for kids and families this weekend (August 9 and 10) as the original storybook of Filipino kids airs on its new timeslots every Saturday at 7:15PM, and Sunday at 7:00PM.

In the continuation of “Wansapanataym Presents Nato de Coco,” Oca’s (Vhong) life begins to change after he abandoned his wife and son for his career as a basketball player. However, despite his longing for his son’s forgiveness, Oca fails to make it up to Nato (Louise) because of a tragic accident. Can Oca still manage to reconcile with his family when he’s given the chance to be with them as a coconut?

Also featured in “Nato de Coco” are Ella Cruz, Joshua Dionisio, Epi Quizon, and Yogo Singh. It is written by Noreen Capili and directed by Lino Cayetano.

Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the original storybook for Filipino kids, “Wansapanataym,” is ABS-CBN’s longest-running and most-awarded fantasy-drama anthology.
