BEIJING, China (Jun 2025) – Chinese tech giant Xiaomi unveiled a sweeping array of next-generation devices at its “New beginnings” product launch, introducing the flagship YU7 series, upgraded MIX Flip 2 foldable, AI-powered glasses, and ecosystem products that signal the company’s aggressive push into artificial intelligence and connected living.
The standout MIX Flip 2 foldable smartphone packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a massive 5,165mAh battery that breaks the 5,000mAh barrier for compact foldables. The device features Leica camera optics and a 3.5-inch outer display supporting over 500 apps, from social media to travel booking.
“We’re seeing foldables finally mature into daily drivers rather than novelty items,” according to a press release obtained by our editors. The MIX Flip 2 measures just 7.57mm when unfolded and weighs 199g, available in four colors starting at 5,999 yuan ($830).
Xiaomi’s boldest move comes with its AI Glasses, weighing just 40 grams while packing a 12MP camera, dual speakers, and real-time translation across 10 languages. The glasses offer 8.6 hours of battery life and feature electrochromic lenses that adjust shade in 0.2 seconds. Priced from 1,999 yuan ($275), they target the emerging smart eyewear market dominated by Meta and Google.
The company’s first self-developed 3nm processor, XRING O1, powers the new Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet. The device boasts a 12.5-inch 3.2K display reaching 1,000 nits brightness and supports 120W fast charging that fills the 10,610mAh battery in 36 minutes. Starting at 3,299 yuan ($455), it directly challenges Apple’s iPad Pro lineup.
Xiaomi’s wearables refresh includes the Smart Band 10 with a 1.72-inch AMOLED display and AI swim stroke detection, priced from 269 yuan ($37). The Watch S4 41mm targets smaller wrists with a 32g design and women’s health features including menstrual cycle tracking.
The OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds introduce a five-driver system with active sound leakage reduction, tuned by Harman’s Golden Ear team and priced at 999 yuan ($138).
All devices integrate with Xiaomi’s “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem, connecting smartphones, electric vehicles, and smart home products. The strategy positions Xiaomi to compete with Apple’s integrated approach while targeting price-conscious consumers globally.
Filipino tech enthusiasts can expect these products to reach Southeast Asian markets within months, as Xiaomi maintains strong distribution networks across the Philippines and region.
