With its mission to enrich the lives of everyone through distributing motorcycles nationwide, Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) recently turned over twenty (20) motorcycles to ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation (ALKFI).

Twenty units of Yamaha motorcycle will be designated in different ecotourism sites of Bantay Kalikasan, schools under Programa Genio and a service vehicle for Bantay Bata 163.

“The Philippines has rich natural resources. We are delighted to know that our motorcycles will be used not only to sustain the country’s beauty but also to enrich people’s lives,” YMPH Sales and Marketing Director Kaoru Oruga enthused.

ALKFI Managing Director Clarissa Ocampo said that motorcycles will ease the difficulty in transportation in different ecotourism sites. “We need partnerships like this to help us create models of ecotourism sites that will uplift the lives of our countrymen,” she added.

ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation is a multisectoral non-profit organization that aims to create a model for ecotourism through its environmental arm, Bantay Kalikasan. It also aims to bring out the genius in every child through Programa Genio and ultimately, provide a better future for the kids through Bantay Bata 163.

Yamaha Motor Philippines has been a staunch partner of ALKFI. In November 2013, they donated Php7Million worth of cash and various goods to Sagip Kapamilya to aid the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. Yamaha also ensured the proper disposal of almost 3,600 kilograms of used lead acid batteries through donating it to Bantay Baterya.
