The UP Investment Club (UPIC) is a non-profit student-led organization that has spearheaded several initiatives such as co-curricular lectures, and strategy simulations, as well as value-adding conferences. All these are carried out in order to further the organization’s goal of a more financially literate Philippines.
This April and May 2022, UPIC continues this mission through a three-day nonconsecutive event, the Young Traders Summit (YTS). YTS 2022 was created in the interest of student and young-adult traders focusing on trading in the stock market. This year, UPIC has invited various experts from different fields to speak about relevant financial topics.
As the Philippines continues to experience the lows of the market, there are new potential opportunities moving in different directions. YTS 2022 aims to equip its viewers with knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals for trading, investing and speculations among others, making them ready for the potential that the financial market offers.
YTS 2022 will be held virtually via Zoom on the afternoons of April 23 (Saturday), April 30 (Saturday), and May 7 (Saturday) at 1:00PM-4:00PM PST. It will also be broadcasted via Facebook live in a registrant-exclusive Facebook group.
Registration started last March 19, 2022 and will be ongoing until April 23, 2022. YTS 2022 is open to anyone who has keen interest in trading and investing as a whole.
