PetPal launches home vaccination service for Metro Manila fur babies

PHILIPPINES – PetPal, the Philippines’ first pet care super app, has introduced home vaccination services, now available to pet owners within Metro Manila and nearby areas. This new service coincides with National Pet Wellness Month, highlighting the need for regular veterinary check-ups and preventive care for pets.

Many pet owners in the country only visit veterinarians during emergencies, according to a Royal Canin survey, with 80% delaying appointments until urgent care is required. PetPal’s new service aims to shift this approach by making proactive pet care more accessible and convenient.

PetPal’s General Manager, Martin Luchangco, emphasized that the home vaccination service allows pet parents to easily schedule appointments, monitor their pets’ vaccination records, and stay on top of their pets’ health needs. The app automatically updates vaccination records, streamlining the process for pet owners.

Currently available within Metro Manila and surrounding areas like Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, and Bulacan, the service offers vaccines for both dogs and cats, including Anti-Rabies, Kennel Cough, and various combination vaccines. Prices start at P300, excluding additional fees.

To schedule a vaccination, users can simply log into the PetPal app, select their preferred schedule, choose a veterinarian, and confirm their appointment. Booking at least a week in advance is recommended to ensure availability.

This new service expands PetPal’s existing offerings, which include teleconsultations, home vet visits, home grooming, and an AI-powered chatbot for quick pet health advice. Pet owners can download the PetPal app on Android and iOS to access these services.
