Is Archery the Next Big Urban Sport? CV Archery Opens in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines (Feb 2025) — CV Archery has opened its doors at Circulo Verde, offering a fresh way for Filipinos to experience the sport. Whether you’re a first-time archer, a casual visitor, or a seasoned competitor, the outdoor range provides a unique opportunity to practice precision and focus in an open-air setting.

Developed through a partnership between Ortigas Land and the Archery Excellence Center (AEC), CV Archery is led by decorated athletes Nino Sinco, Rona Galicano, and Macky Santos. The facility welcomes archers of all skill levels, offering coaching programs for beginners and competitive training for those aiming to refine their technique.

“Archery is about more than just hitting the target—it’s about discipline and control,” said Coach Nino Sinco. “CV Archery is designed to make the sport accessible, whether you’re here for fun or serious training.”

A Rare Outdoor Archery Experience in Metro Manila

CV Archery stands out as one of the few open-air archery ranges in the metro and the only one open to the general public. Located within CV Play, Circulo Verde’s dedicated sports hub, the range offers a distraction-free environment for archers to practice at distances ranging from 5 meters to Olympic-standard 70 meters.

The facility is part of a growing active-lifestyle community that includes The Palms Arena, a football field; The Bike Playground, an all-weather cycling park; and CV Quad, a FIBA-sized basketball court. Its strategic location near the CV Bridge ensures easy access for visitors from Pasig, Quezon City, and surrounding areas.

Archery for All Ages and Skill Levels

CV Archery offers programs suited for all experience levels. Newcomers can start with the Discovery Archery Program, which includes equipment rental and guided instruction. More advanced archers can enroll in structured lessons to improve their accuracy and technique. The facility also offers specialized training for aspiring archery coaches.

For independent archers, the range is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Regular competitions and tournaments are in the works, including in-house games, national-level events, and potential international matches.

Safe and Structured Training Environment

Safety is a priority at CV Archery. Every participant receives a mandatory orientation before stepping onto the range, ensuring proper equipment handling and adherence to range etiquette. Trained Range Officers are present at all times, and the facility is equipped with protective barriers and first-aid-trained staff.

More Than Just Archery

After a session on the range, visitors can explore the rest of Circulo Verde’s outdoor sports offerings or enjoy a meal at Liam’s & Louis Gourmet Café, known for its farm-to-table dining experience.

For those looking to try something new or sharpen their archery skills, CV Archery at Circulo Verde is now open. Visit Circulo Verde’s official Facebook page for updates, or drop by to experience the range firsthand.
