CAVITE, Philippines (June 2026) — Young runners from Cavite are getting another chance to chase bigger goals as Vermosa Green Run renews its partnership with Takbo Kabitenyo for the third straight year.
The annual Green Run, which combines fitness with environmental and community causes, continues to support Takbo Kabitenyo, a Cavite-based running organization that trains aspiring track and field athletes with hopes of helping them compete on the national stage.
To mark the renewed partnership, Vermosa recently turned over race kits to Takbo Kabitenyo members. The young runners also received race day essentials from sponsors Merrell and Gatsby.
Helping young athletes go further
The partnership gives promising athletes more opportunities to compete, gain exposure and improve their skills through organized running events. It also highlights Vermosa’s continued commitment to grassroots sports development in Cavite.
The Green Run welcomes participants of all fitness levels, from first-time runners to seasoned racers, while supporting causes beyond sports.
A race with a bigger purpose
Green Run 2026 takes place on June 28 at Ayala Vermosa Estates. Aside from promoting an active lifestyle, the event raises funds for the Haribon Foundation, Takbo Kabitenyo and Pawssion Project.
This year’s run is supported by Oishi, Merrell, Pocari, Salonpas, Booster C, Fitbar, Gatsby, Milo, Apex, Topbreed, Dunsk Kuhner, Baby Boo, Chef Special, Entrée Gourmet Pet Treats, Saint Roche, The Gourmet Specialist, Zert and Wonderpaw.
