MANILA, Philippines (Jul 2026) — EastWest’s 2025 debut drew about 14,000 runners nationwide. The 2026 edition doubles down on that momentum with four legs instead of three, and the message is simple: run for whatever dream you’re chasing.
The Dream Run returns in partnership with RUNRIO, with legs in Manila, Clark, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro. The Manila leg is set for August 2, 2026 at Filinvest City in Alabang. Clark follows on August 30, 2026 at Filinvest Mimosa Plus Events Grounds. The other two city legs will be announced separately.
Race categories range from 1K Dog Run to 21K, so there’s a lane for first-timers, fur-parents, and seasoned runners alike. Each entrant gets a race bib, singlet, finisher’s medal, and loot bag. The 1K Dog Run adds a dog bandana, and 21K finishers get an extra shirt.
Running toward something meaningful
Martin Reyes, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of EastWest, said the run reflects the bank’s broader push to support Filipinos beyond banking. “Dreams come in many forms. For some, it’s owning a home or starting a business. For others, it’s crossing a finish line they once thought was out of reach,” he said.
Coach Rio de la Cruz, founder of RUNRIO, added: “The response to the inaugural run showed how much people value events that bring together fitness, community, and personal achievement. We’re excited to create another memorable race experience for runners of all backgrounds and abilities.”
Registration is now open through www.eastwestbanker.com/dream-run-2026. EastWest credit cardholders who spend at least PHP 3,000 on registration can claim a PHP 500 rebate through October 18, 2026. Each race day will also feature a race village with activities, interactive booths, and giveaways from Filinvest, Quest Plus Conference Center, Mimosa Estate Plus, Visa, and EastWest Ageas.
