First shown in Barcelona last month, the CAMON 40 Series represents TECNO’s most advanced integration of artificial intelligence into smartphones yet. The AI enhances not just the FlashSnap function but overall image quality, creativity tools, and user efficiency, particularly targeting emerging markets like the Philippines.
The FlashSnap technology specifically uses AI to speed up camera startup and continuous shooting. It also employs AI multi-frame processing to reduce image noise and enhance detail, ensuring clearer photos even in challenging, fast-paced situations.
Filipinos eager to get their hands on the new devices can participate in an offline pre-order period from April 24 to May 10. This applies to the CAMON 40 Pro 5G 8GB + 256GB and CAMON 40 Pro 5G 12GB + 256GB models, offering discounts up to Php 1,500. Pre-ordering customers will also receive a CAMON premium gift set containing a Bluetooth speaker and power bank, valued at Php 1,999. Claiming for pre-orders begins on May 11.
All models, including the CAMON 40 8+256GB and the CAMON 40 Premier 5G 12+256GB, alongside the Pro 5G variants, will be available through online channels starting April 23. The CAMON 40 Pro 5G models will be offered in glacier white, galaxy black, and emerald lake green.
