MANILA, Philippines (Jun 2025) – Toyota owners across the Philippines now have more insurance options as the country’s leading automaker expands its Toyota Insure program with two new heavyweight partners.
Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation announced strategic partnerships with Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation and MAAGAP Insurance Inc., giving Filipino car buyers broader choices for protecting their vehicles while maintaining the seamless dealership experience Toyota is known for.
The move comes as Toyota strengthens its grip on the Philippine automotive market, where one in three new cars sold carries the Toyota badge. The expanded Toyota Insure program now works with seven insurance companies, creating what industry experts call the most comprehensive dealer-integrated insurance network in the country.
“We’re enhancing the customer experience beyond just owning a Toyota,” said Mike Masamayor, TMP First Vice President for Value Chain Operations. “From financing through Toyota Financial Services to insurance with Toyota Insure, and trade-ins with T-Sure, we’re covering the entire vehicle lifecycle.”
Pioneer Insurance, the Philippines’ top non-life insurance provider by gross written premium in 2023, brings 70 years of experience to the partnership. The company, 100% Filipino-owned with P300 million in capitalization, already maintains strong ties with Toyota dealerships nationwide.

MAAGAP Insurance, ranked 20th in gross written premium as of 2023, adds P682 million in capitalization to the partnership. The company, 85% owned by a consortium led by Triple P Capital and the International Finance Corporation, has operated in the Philippines since 2001.

Toyota Insure offers full-coverage policies at competitive rates, hassle-free claims processing, free personal accident coverage, and guaranteed repairs using genuine Toyota parts at authorized dealerships. The program also boosts dealership after-sales business and customer retention.
Since launching in 2015, Toyota Insure has grown steadily alongside Toyota’s market dominance in the Philippines. The program now partners with AXA Philippines, Malayan Insurance, Standard Insurance, People’s General Insurance, and Stronghold Insurance Company, creating multiple options for different customer needs.
