CUENCA, Philippines (Jul 2025) — OPPO Philippines has donated 18 computer sets and school supplies to Dalipit Elementary School in Batangas, helping improve digital access and classroom resources for young learners in the area.
The donation, which includes tools for 130 students from Grades 1 to 6, supports OPPO’s continuing push to invest in education and local development. The initiative is part of the company’s broader efforts to empower Filipino youth through better access to technology and learning.
Barangay Dalipit West officials welcomed the support. Barangay Councilor Mary Ann Pascual said their school was “blessed” to be chosen. “Many schools need computers, and we’re thankful OPPO selected us,” she said.
Barangay Captain Felicisima Jumarang echoed the gratitude, adding, “We pray OPPO continues to grow so more communities like ours can benefit.”
Speaking at the turnover ceremony, OPPO Philippines Operations, HR, and Legal Director Edison Gaw urged students to take their studies seriously and remain grounded. “Study hard, listen to your teachers and parents, and be kind,” he told the crowd. “You can be a role model at any age.”
The donation reinforces OPPO’s goal to drive positive change in Filipino communities by making technology more accessible and education more inclusive.
