MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — One of mobile gaming’s biggest local events is coming to Manila this May, and it is free to attend.
Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena has announced Summer Festival 2026, a two-day event happening on May 23 and 24 at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig. The festival brings together esports competition, creator showcases, carnival-style community booths, and exclusive limited-edition merchandise — all under one roof and open to the public at no charge.
At the center of the weekend is a combined prize pool of $100,000 (approx. PHP 5.8 million) split across two tournaments.
Two major tournaments, one weekend
The Garena Elite Philippines 2026 takes the stage on May 23, marking the first local LAN event to feature both Multiplayer and Battle Royale formats under one tournament. With a $40,000 (approx. PHP 2.3 million) prize pool, GEP 2026 is designed to surface and spotlight the country’s top grassroots talent. Registration opens from April 6 to 12, with details available on official COD Mobile Garena channels.
The Garena Summer Invitational 2026 follows on May 24, bringing 14 teams from across the region — including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau — to compete live in Manila. The $60,000 (approx. PHP 3.5 million) prize pool tournament is the first regional Call of Duty: Mobile event to be hosted offline in the Philippines, and serves as a proving ground ahead of global qualifiers.
What else is happening
Beyond the competition, the two-day festival includes creator showmatches, on-site giveaways, and the chance to meet content creators in person. In the weeks leading up to the main event, Garena will also be running “Hotspot Attacks” — a series of on-ground activations across the country as a warm-up to the main event.
Pre-registration for the offline event opens in mid-April. Full event programming and broadcast schedules will be announced in the coming weeks.
Free COD Points starting today
The celebrations kick off now. From March 30 to May 10, Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena is running an in-game CP giveaway where players can log in and complete missions to earn up to 3,500 COD Points for free.
