The upcoming animated series is co-produced through a joint investment between Garena Online Private Limited and Kadokawa Corporation, promising to bring the intense action of the game to global viewing screens.
A superpowered battle for the truth
The upcoming series takes place in a near-future city named New Dawn, which is heavily controlled by the powerful Horizon Corporation. The story follows a 16-year-old girl named Kelly who wakes up with absolutely no memory of her past. She quickly finds herself entangled in a mysterious experimental initiative known as Project Bloom.
Along the way, she awakens a unique ability called Limit Break, a special power that can unlock anything that has been sealed away. As pieces of her identity start coming back, Kelly joins forces with familiar allies Hayato and Moco to expose the dark conspiracy behind Horizon Corporation and protect the future of the city.
The creative team behind the adaptation
Pinoy fans can get a first look at the main cast through the newly released key visual, which showcases the central characters preparing for action amidst shattered glass fragments that hint at Kelly’s hidden powers.
Japanese animation studio studio CANDYBOX is handling the animation production, with Ken Takahashi stepping in as the director. Hotaru Asafuji is handling the series composition and screenplay, while Kouji Fujimoto from Sus4 Inc. is creating the musical score. The project will be broadcast and streamed worldwide, including in Japan.
