Vault Hunters gearing up for their next big raid in Borderlands 4 are getting a massive content drop this coming September 10, complete with a higher level cap, a brand-new island, and a fresh playable character.

Welcome to the tropical warzone of Providence

The upcoming Story Pack 2 expansion, titled “FL4K and the Last Resort,” takes players to Providence, a remote tropical island resort located next to an active volcano. The Tediore corporation has invaded the island to extract its precious Ordonite resources, deploying exo-suit soldiers, heavy mechs, and elite squad managers under the command of Lt. Harmony. Pinoy gamers will team up with returning beastmaster FL4K to rescue their skag companion, Mr. Chew, and put a stop to Tediore’s expansion.

Providence features zipline networks for vertical traversal across jungle canopies, digiverse server battles where players fight digital enemies at the source, and random volcanic eruptions that spawn minibosses across the map. Players who clear the island’s challenges can earn two new Pearlescent weapons and 18 pieces of Legendary loot.

Meet Loveless the Hacker

Arriving alongside the new zone is the second DLC character for Borderlands 4, Loveless the Hacker. An ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin, Loveless shares her mind with a custom digital virus that materializes into a physical pet companion during battle. Players can purchase Loveless as a standalone character or access her through the Super Deluxe Edition and Vault Hunter Pack. Gearbox Software will showcase her abilities in detail during a DevCast stream on September 3.

Unraveling Siren mysteries with Amara

Bounty Pack 5, titled “Amara and the Vile Shadows,” brings back the Siren Amara to investigate Phase dimension energy leaks caused by the moon Elpis. Completing this repeatable mission unlocks an ECHO-4 Drone skin, a vehicle, a universal Vault Hunter skin, a new Pearlescent weapon, and six Legendary gear items. Players can also complete Vault Card 5 to unlock 24 extra cosmetics and four rerollable gear items.

Free level cap bump and launch details

All players will receive a free level cap increase of 10 levels when Version 1.10 launches on September 10, allowing for expanded skill builds. Borderlands 4 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Note: Official Philippine pricing for standalone DLC packs has not yet been announced.
