TAIPEI, Taiwan (May 2026) — Two new Acer laptops just landed, and together they cover opposite ends of the market: one is a sleek AI convertible built for power users, and the other is the world’s first laptop to run on Qualcomm’s brand-new entry-tier Snapdragon C processor.
Acer announced the Swift Spin 14 AI and the Aspire Go 15 at Computex 2026, expanding its Snapdragon-powered lineup from the premium tier all the way down to the mainstream.
The convertible that wants to replace your tablet
The Swift Spin 14 AI (model SFSP14-Q51T) is the headliner. It runs on either the Snapdragon X2 Elite or X2 Plus processor — both with an 80 TOPS NPU — making it a certified Copilot+ PC with serious on-device AI chops.
What makes it stand out on paper is the battery. Acer claims up to 23 hours of video playback and 16.5 hours of web browsing on a single charge. A 100-watt USB4 Type-C port handles fast charging when needed.
The 14-inch WUXGA IPS display (1920×1200, 120Hz, 100% sRGB) is fully touch-enabled and pairs with an included Acer Active Stylus 420. The stylus uses Wacom AES 2.0 technology with 4,096 pressure levels and tilt detection for shading. It charges in 30 seconds for 100 minutes of use, and when not in active use, it parks inside a built-in garage on the chassis.
The 360-degree hinge lets it flip into laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes — the full convertible experience. At 1.34 kg and between 15.9 to 16.5 mm thin, it is genuinely portable. The aluminum build in cobalt blue is MIL-STD-810H certified.
Specs go up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, dual USB4 Type-C, dual USB 3.2 Type-A, and HDMI 2.1. A 5MP IR webcam supports Windows Hello facial login.
Acer James Lin, General Manager for Notebooks, said the Swift Spin 14 AI was designed for “high-output achievers who demand uncompromising speed, AI integrated processing, and multi-day battery life.”
First out of the gate on Snapdragon C
The Aspire Go 15 (AG15-Q31P) is making quiet history as the first laptop ever to ship with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon C processor, a chip designed specifically for affordable, everyday computing.
It is not built to compete with the Swift Spin on performance. The pitch here is simplicity and endurance: a cool, fanless-style design, all-day battery life, and enough muscle for browsing, streaming, and working documents.
The 15.6-inch FHD display has narrow bezels, and the machine packs up to 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Two full-function USB Type-C ports and an HDMI port handle peripherals, while Wi-Fi 6E keeps the connection quick. AcerSense software manages battery and performance settings from one place.
It also checks the sustainability box: packaged in 100% recyclable materials, built with post-consumer recycled plastic components, and carrying both Energy Star certification and EPEAT registration.
Pricing and availability
Acer has not confirmed pricing or Philippine availability for either model. Specifications and release dates will vary by region. Check www.acer.com or contact the local Acer office for updates.
