MANILA, Philippines (July 2026) — A massive group of Korean superstars is about to lie, cheat, and trick each other in a high-tech murder mystery game starting July 29.

The upcoming AI-driven variety show “Murder Club: Liar’s Table” is heading straight to Disney+, bringing together a wild mix of gamers, K-pop idols, and content creators. If you love psychological warfare and high-stakes deduction games, this is definitely one to watch.

High-tech lies and psychological warfare

The premise is wild: players are thrown into highly realistic historical and modern settings, from the Joseon Dynasty to a modern-day baseball field and even a prison. To make things even crazier, the backstories and full narrative of each murder case are brought to life through AI-generated video sequences.

Once the stage is set, it is up to the players to find the real culprit hidden among them using limited clues. The twist? The actual killer is sitting right there at the table, using every sneaky tactic possible to avoid getting caught before the clock runs out.

An all-star cast of suspects

The line-up is absolutely stacked for Pinoy fans of Korean pop culture. Leading the pack are legendary esports icon Faker and TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Beomgyu.

They are joined by a chaotic mix of talents, including travel YouTuber Pani Bottle, comedian Choi Yangrak, comedian Eom Jiyoon, actor Shin Sungrok, viral creator Kim Seontae, TVXQ! member Max Changmin, professional baseball player Kim Hyunsoo, and “Culinary Class Wars” chef Park Juseong. The show is co-produced by KJH Studio and Skaper AI.

More Korean survival shows to watch

If you cannot wait for the July 29 premiere, the streaming platform already has a bunch of other intense Korean survival shows available. You can jump into “Battle of Fates,” a supernatural reality competition featuring 49 fortune tellers, or “I Am Boxer,” where 90 hopefuls fight to become the next big thing in boxing. There is also “The Zone: Survival Mission” starring Yu Jaeseok, Kwon Yuri, Dex, and Kim Donghyun.

Note: Local Philippine subscription pricing for Disney+ was not specified in the release.
