Lifestyle editor Raul Manzano is taking viewers on a virtual journey to Lagen Island in El Nido, Palawan. The upcoming episode explores how local heritage blends with modern luxury in one of the country's most iconic island destinations.

A mix of local culture and modern comfort

The tour highlights a water villa inspired by the traditional bahay kubo and the heritage of the indigenous Batak community. Viewers will also see a forest-themed suite featuring a calming bathtub and panoramic views of the beach. For a quick drink, a unique boathouse modeled after a ship's hull serves as a chic cocktail lounge.
