MANILA, Philippines (July 2026) – The highly anticipated concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris is officially heading to theaters worldwide this September, allowing pop fans to experience the massive stadium production up close.
The global theatrical event kicks off across 70 countries on Sept. 2, 2026, featuring an exclusive IMAX premiere in the United States on the same day. Captured during two sold-out nights in Paris in November 2025, the film utilizes a massive 60-camera setup to place audiences directly inside the performance. Viewers will get to see stunning aerial shots, explosive visuals, and choreography that includes Perry flying above the audience and soaring around the arena on a winged butterfly.
A hit-filled setlist and record-breaking tour stats
The 132-minute feature includes iconic anthems like Teenage Dream, California Gurls, Dark Horse, Roar, and Firework. It also features The One That Got Away, a track that experienced a major global resurgence on Spotify charts in 2026.
The original live tour reached over one million fans across five continents, generating $134,158,672 (approx. PHP 7.78 billion) in gross ticket sales over 91 shows. The tour also supported charitable causes, including a donation of $264,814 (approx. PHP 15.36 million) to the Firework Foundation in the US and $109,128 (approx. PHP 6.33 million) to the Music Venue Trust in the UK.
Directed by Paul Dugdale and produced by Daniel E. Catullo III, the film originally had its world premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Festival. Kymberli Frueh, executive vice president of content acquisitions and programming at Trafalgar Releasing, noted that the cinema release gives fans a chance to experience the moment on the biggest screen possible.
Tickets for the global release go on sale starting July 30, 2026, through the official website at Katy Perry Concert Film. Local cinema schedules and specific ticket pricing for Pinoy theatergoers have not yet been announced.
