MANILA, Philippines (Aug 2026) — Surviving heavy traffic with a big family is a tough challenge, but the newly launched GAC MPV Family lineup aims to make every road trip feel like a first-class flight. GAC Philippines has officially introduced three distinct multi-purpose vehicles to the local market: the All-New GAC GN6, the GAC E8 HEV, and the flagship GAC GN8 PHEV Executive.
These three models are built on a single philosophy that real comfort starts with confidence. Instead of offering basic passenger haulers, the company focuses on flexible space, thoughtful engineering, and efficient powertrain performance tailored to the daily routines of Pinoy households.
The budget-friendly space saver
Serving as the entry point into the lineup, the All-New GAC GN6 balances easy city driving with a roomy interior. It is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, putting out 176.7 PS and 270 Nm of torque.
Inside, a 190 mm center aisle makes it simple to move between the front rows and the back. If you are packing light, it offers 324 liters of trunk space. For big family vacations, the third-row seats fold entirely flat into the floor, expanding the total cargo capacity to 1,100 liters, which is enough space to fit 14 20-inch suitcases. The cabin also features a 14.6-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
The All-New GAC GN6 is priced at PHP 1,298,000 (approx. $22,379), but early buyers can get it at a special launch price of PHP 1,198,000 (approx. $20,655).
The hybrid road tripper
For families looking to save on fuel without losing out on premium features, the GAC E8 HEV pairs a 2.0-liter hybrid engine with an electric motor. The setup provides a combined driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers from a single 60-liter tank, averaging a WLTC fuel consumption rating of 5.58 liters per 100 kilometers.
Getting in and out is easy for kids and grandparents thanks to a low 375 mm step-in height. The interior can be rearranged into 18 different seating configurations. Passengers in the second row get One-Touch Zero Gravity seats equipped with power leg rests, ventilation, and built-in massage functions. The third-row seats can also be flipped backward into a unique Tea Break Mode for tailgating.
The GAC E8 HEV is available in two options: the GL variant for PHP 1,858,000 (approx. $32,034) and the GX variant for PHP 1,998,000 (approx. $34,448). Special introductory pricing drops these rates to PHP 1,778,000 (approx. $30,655) and PHP 1,918,000 (approx. $33,069) respectively.
The ultimate rolling boardroom
At the top of the lineup is the GAC GN8 PHEV Executive, a full-size, seven-seat plug-in hybrid flagship designed for VIP travel and premium executive transit. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine combines with an electric motor to generate a massive 373 HP and 630 Nm of torque. It offers a pure electric driving range of up to 120 kilometers for silent city driving, with a total combined range of 1,038 kilometers.
The cabin functions like a luxury lounge. It uses a Zero Breeze air conditioning system with more than 1,600 micro-vents to distribute gentle, draft-free air, alongside six-directional seat vibration dampers that absorb road bumps. The second-row captain’s chairs include position memory, fold-out tray tables, and individual climate settings. It also packs a 16-speaker premium audio system and a starlight panoramic roof.
The flagship GAC GN8 PHEV Executive is priced at PHP 3,488,000 (approx. $60,138), with a special promotional launch price of PHP 3,338,000 (approx. $57,552).
Long-term peace of mind
GAC Philippines General Manager Calvin Cheng noted that this complete lineup is designed to serve changing family needs, from daily school runs to long-distance executive mobility. To support local drivers, the brand offers a five-year or 150,000 km warranty for gas-powered models, an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty for hybrid components, and two years of free roadside assistance.
Reservations are now open at 30 authorized dealerships nationwide. The special introductory pricing and promotional savings are available for all early bookings made until August 31, 2026. You can book a test drive or view the full lineup through the GAC Philippines Test Drive Portal.
