MANILA, Philippines (Aug 2026) – The new Epson WorkForce DS-530III A4 duplex sheet-fed color scanner has arrived to help Pinoy businesses drowning in daily paperwork accelerate their digital transformation without hogging valuable desk space. This compact machine fits easily into smaller modern offices while handling heavy workloads.

Fast performance for heavy workloads

Measuring just 296 by 169 by 176 millimeters, the device delivers scanning speeds of up to 40 pages per minute, or 80 images per minute. It features a daily duty cycle of up to 6,500 pages. An automatic feeding mode allows users to run batch scans with a continuous feed of multiple pages, even combining different document sizes into a single digital file.

Smart tech to prevent paper damage

The device includes paper protection and double feed detection skip technology to spot abnormal feeds, preventing damage to documents that have staples, extra folds, or stickers. It also features a glass dirt detection system that alerts users when the glass surface needs cleaning, reducing the need for repeated scans.

With its simple control panel and a customizable one-touch button, users can quickly access core scanning functions. The one-pass duplex scanning feature captures both sides of a page at once, saving time during high-volume tasks. It also supports carrier sheets with automatic detection, making it safe to scan fragile or oddly shaped papers. An ultrasonic sensor and length detection system work in real time to catch overlapping pages.

Flexible options and bundled software

For offices that need to handle thicker items like books or delicate receipts, the unit can be paired with the Epson Perfection V39II flatbed photo scanner using an optional flatbed dock. This setup gives local operations more scanning options without taking up extra room.

Two free software applications come bundled with the hardware: Epson Scan 2 and Document Capture Pro. Epson Scan 2 improves image clarity through text enhancement and color optimization, and its built-in optical character recognition creates searchable, password-protected PDFs. Document Capture Pro lets users organize files into folders, automatically recognizes barcodes and blank pages, and saves up to 30 custom settings to handle repetitive tasks quickly.

Noelle Gonzalez, the head of marketing and customer service at Epson Philippines Corporation, noted that as organizations deepen their digitization processes, they need scanning tools that pair speed and flexibility. She added that the new model expands the company’s lineup to better support the varied needs of local customers.

Note: Philippine pricing and specific local release dates were not included in the initial announcement. Interested buyers can visit the official Epson website or contact authorized local dealers for details.
