BERLIN, Germany (Sep 2026) – Managing a household can feel like a full-time job, but living in a home that anticipates daily routines is becoming a reality. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, the new LG AI Home ecosystem was showcased to demonstrate how smart appliances, central hubs, and intelligent services work together to simplify everyday life for busy Pinoy households.
A central brain for your home
At the heart of the setup is the LG ThinQ ON AI home hub, working alongside the updated LG ThinQ platform. The system learns household habits, understands individual room conditions, and adjusts appliance settings automatically.
Making its debut at the show, ThinQ Claw acts as a text-chat AI assistant integrated directly with ThinQ ON. By chatting naturally with users, ThinQ Claw recommends daily actions and helps manage household tasks without requiring manual programming.
More space and lower energy bills
For Pinoy families living in compact urban spaces like condos and townhouses, space efficiency is key. The LG Fit & Max Solution brings built-in style appliances with expanded internal capacities. Originally designed for refrigerators, this space-saving design now extends to washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, including dishwasher models capable of completing a full wash and dry cycle in just one hour.
Energy efficiency also takes center stage through appliances equipped with Dual Inverter Heat Pump technology. Among the highlights is an ultra-efficient washing machine that cuts energy use by up to 70 percent compared to standard European Class A requirements.
Next-level entertainment and culinary tech
Home entertainment gets a massive boost with the LG OLED W6 Wallpaper TV and the 2026 LG OLED evo AI displays, powered by the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 for enhanced color and brightness. Gamers also get a look at the world’s first UltraGear monitor supporting both FHD resolution and a 1,000Hz refresh rate.
In the kitchen, the LG SIGNATURE lineup incorporates AI voice recognition and the AI Gourmet camera inside the 30-inch wall oven. The oven can identify dishes and recommend the ideal cooking mode automatically.
Baek Seung-tae, president of the LG Home Appliance Solution Company, shared that the company aims to connect intelligent appliances and services to deliver personalized customer experiences while strengthening its presence in the premium market.
Note: Specific Philippine pricing and local release dates for individual LG AI Home appliances have not yet been announced.
