BLACKPINK’s JENNIE has been the face of adidas for years, but she just moved from fronting the campaign to shaping the product. Her first collection as a co-designer, adidas Originals by JENNIE, reworks the brand’s most famous sneaker into something that belongs on a ballet stage.
What is adidas Originals by JENNIE?
The drop marks JENNIE’s debut as a co-designer for the three stripes, deepening a relationship that previously saw her represent the brand as an ambassador. adidas frames the whole collection around the idea of Functional Grace, blending the control and precision of ballet with the strength behind the form. The campaign, titled Cosmic Ballerina: Kinematics, places her in a surreal, gravity-free cosmos where movement becomes the focal point.
The SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET
At the heart of the line is the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET, the classic Superstar rebuilt with the squared silhouette of a pointe shoe. adidas crafts it in leather lined in lambskin, with ribbon detailing and removable laces so wearers can style it several ways. It is the clearest expression of the balletcore direction running through the whole collection.
The ‘Functional Grace’ wardrobe
The footwear sits inside a full apparel lineup that reworks the Originals archive through JENNIE’s lens. Expect reimagined track tops and track pants, layering T-shirts, wrap skirts, knit wrap cardigans, sheer sleeveless bodysuits and sheer leggings, plus polar fleece half-zip hoodies. High-knit leg warmers and cutout socks finish the layered, ballet-inspired look.

Price and where to buy
adidas Originals by JENNIE launches globally on September 1 at select adidas stores, through the CONFIRMED app and at adidas.com/JENNIE. Current reporting places the US price of the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET at around $150, or roughly PHP 8,400. South Korea gets the collection the same day. A Philippine-specific price and availability list has not been officially announced yet, so local fans should watch the adidas PH channels closely.
Why it matters for K-pop and sneaker fans
JENNIE joins a wave of K-pop solo stars turning personal style into co-branded product lines. It is the same energy behind Rosé’s viral Puma Speedcat landing in the Philippines with its own local pricing, and fellow BLACKPINK member JISOO’s global crossover moment. For Filipino fans, the collection signals that K-pop fashion is now being built with the worldwide market, and its biggest solo stars, in mind.
