MANILA, Philippines (Sep 2026) – High-end foldable smartphones often force users to make tough compromises on battery life and durability, but the new HONOR Magic V6 is turning heads after earning top international recognition for ruggedness and power.
The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) officially named the HONOR Magic V6 as the EISA Foldable Smartphone 2026-2027. Industry judges highlighted the flagship device for packing a massive 6,660mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging into a slim folding frame, alongside tough IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
Under the hood, the device runs on the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It features smooth 120Hz AMOLED displays on both its main and cover screens, making multitasking and media consumption fluid for Pinoy power users.
Climbing the regional smartphone rankings
The prestigious industry award comes as the brand continues to build momentum across Southeast Asia. Market research firm Omdia reported in its second-quarter 2026 study that the company secured the No. 4 spot among smartphone vendors in both the Philippines and Malaysia. This growth comes despite a challenging market where regional shipments dropped 23% year-on-year.
Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines, said the award validates the brand’s efforts to push foldable technology further and reflects its commitment to delivering meaningful innovations that give consumers more freedom to work, create, and experience more on their devices.
Philippine pricing and pre-order bonuses
The HONOR Magic V6 is available for pre-order in the Philippines until September 4, 2026, priced at PHP 119,999 (approx. $2,120). Buyers can choose from Red, Gold, and White finishes.
Pinoy tech enthusiasts who secure their pre-orders through official experience stores, partner outlets, or online channels will receive a free HONOR Pad X8b tablet worth PHP 12,999 (approx. $230) upon claiming their device starting September 5.
