Sony has a new answer for anyone who thinks a single speaker cannot carry an entire party: the ULT TOWER MAX pumps out up to 2,150 watts of sound, and it has already arrived in the Philippines alongside two smaller tower siblings under the ULT POWER SOUND banner.
Meet the new ULT TOWER lineup
Announced for the Asia-Pacific region on September 2, 2026, the trio targets parties, DJ sets, karaoke and everyday listening under the tagline “Massive Bass. Ultimate Vibe.” The flagship ULT TOWER MAX uses three large woofers, two facing forward and one backward, while the ULT TOWER 7 and ULT TOWER 5 scale the output down for smaller rooms.
Power and battery at a glance
Output ranges from a modest 300 watts on the smallest model to 2,150 watts on the MAX. Sony quotes battery life only for the two portable models: up to 30 hours on the ULT TOWER 7 and 20 hours on the ULT TOWER 5, both with an IPX4 rating when stood vertically with their port covers closed.

Built for parties
Every model packs Sony’s ULT button with ULT1 and ULT2 bass modes plus new FLAT and LIVE sound profiles, all tweakable through a Custom EQ in the Sony Sound Connect app. Connectivity covers XLR, RCA and USB-C inputs with stereo pairing, while Party Chain uses Auracast broadcast to sync music and lighting across compatible Sony speakers.
