Family Mart convenience stores (the 2nd largest convenience in the world) has finally launched its tie-up with Beep Card early today at its flagship store in Glorietta 3. The said tie-up is a collaboration of Japanese chain, Family Mart, and the Ayala Corp-Metrp Pacific Investments Corp.
Starting today, December 7, 2016, beep cardholders can reload and pay for their purchases at 80 Family Mart branches, such as, Global One, UP Town Center, Fairway Residences, Anonas, UP Technohub Building O, ABSCBN, Arlington, Fairview Terraces, Gilmore to name a few. Now you can save time and energy lining up just to have your Beep Card reloaded. You can even have a coffee on the side while inside Family Mart.
The tap-and-go-beep card has made it possible for Filipinos pay conveniently in LRT 1, 2 and MRT 3 since its launch in 2015. Beep is also currently being used in slect buses,P2P and the Cavite Expressway. As of this writing, there are over 2.5 million Beep Card active in circulation.
Aside from the tie-up launch, Family Mart presented its newest offerings to the media, namely, Rice-in-a-Box, Solo Pizzas, dessert cups like Mango Graham and Banoffee flavors and Fried Chicken. Other food variety shall soon follow.
