After participating in the United States-Association of Southeast Asian Nations Leaders Summit in Sunnylands, California, President Noynoy Aquino met with executives of Walt Disney International.
During his meeting with Disney executives, Aquino discussed the possible investment opportunities with Walt Disney Chair Andy Bird and Vice President for global public policy Jim Flippatos.
Aquino’s meeting took place on Wednesday morning, and has been part of an ongoing rumor that a Disneyland theme park may come to the Philippines.
Since 2012, ongoing discussions and remarks have been rumored around a park in the regions of Subic Bay, however many believe the park may be constructed in the region of Manila, Quezon City due to its population.
The meeting was held at the prestigious InterContinental in Los Angeles Century City.
Aquino is in Los Angeles, California for a two-day working visit which includes other series of business meetings with Western Digital Corp. and AECOM’s Enterprise Growth Solutions.
