ALABANG, Philippines (Jul 2026) — Thousands of fitness enthusiasts and their furry friends are gearing up to take over the streets of Filinvest City for a massive running event. The upcoming Manila leg of the EastWest Dream Run 2026 kicks off on Aug. 2, 2026, offering local athletes and families a refreshing weekend sports experience.

Following a successful debut in 2025 that drew about 14,000 participants across Manila, Cebu, and Davao, the event is expanding to four cities this year. After the opening leg in Alabang, the race series will head to Clark on Aug. 30, 2026, before making its way to Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro.

More than just a typical footrace

The Alabang event is designed as a complete weekend experience rather than a simple race. Pinoy runners can choose from a one-kilometer dog run, as well as three-kilometer, five-kilometer, 10-kilometer, and 21-kilometer categories.

Participants will receive race-day essentials including a bib, singlet, finisher medal, and a loot bag. Those running the 21-kilometer distance will also receive a finisher shirt, while pets in the dog run get a special bandana.

The race village will feature multiple partner activations to help participants cool down and recover. Runners can visit the Dyson cooling zones, check out the EastWest Horizons Club recovery lounge, or access exclusive treats from various event sponsors. Quest Plus Conference Center Manila, the official hotel partner, is also giving registered participants up to 60% off room rates for the weekend.

Perks for cardholders and registration details

EastWest credit cardholders can get a PHP 500 (approx. $9) rebate if they hit a minimum spend of PHP 3,000 (approx. $52) on their race registration.

With less than two weeks left before the Manila leg kicks off, interested participants can secure their slots by signing up online. Registration forms and additional details are available on the official website at EastWest Banker.
