Fujifilm X series goes Xtreme


FujiFilm X-Series cameras and lenses have arrived. Camera enthusiast enjoyed being one of the first in Asia to witness the new breed of FujiFilm X cameras.

FujiFilm’s Hiroshi Kawahara, attributed as father of the X100 series, visited Philippines to formally introduce the next generation X-Series Camera.

The Philippines is the first in Asia to launch the new breed of the Fujifilm X-series cameras and lenses, specifically: the X100T, X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition and X30 cameras and the XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR and 56mm F1.2 R APD lenses.

 

Theres  also an open forum with the X-Photographers Rommel Bundalian, Randall Cipriano, Niko Villegas, Jan Gonzales and Lito Sy. The event was also graced by performances from Kamikazee, Eevee, Letter Day Story and Lucille Band.

The Fujifilm X30 digital camera

 

X30 features  the newly-developed Real Time Viewfinder – which is the largest, fastest and highest resolving viewfinder in its class – a large 2/3-inch X-TransTM CMOS II sensor 12 megapixel with no optical low pass filter), EXR Processor II image processing engine and a new ‘Classic Chrome’ film simulation mode.

Further additions include a new control ring along with extra dials and function buttons for more control and a tilting 3.0-inch 920K-dot premium clear LCD monitor.

Battery performance has also been improved, with the X30 capable of shooting approximately 470 photos  on one charge thanks to a capacity approximately 1.8 times greater than that of previous models and a new, energy- saving design.

The FujiFilm X100T is a premium compact digital camera equipped with the world’s first electronic rangefinder, an APS-C size X-Trans CMOS II sensor, high-speed EXR Processor II image processing engine and a Fujinon 23mm F2 lens. The X100T has a new Classic Chrome film simulation mode.

The FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR has a focal length equivalent to 76- 213mm, and a constant F2.8 aperture throughout the range.
