The story
Based on the 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the musical follows Veronica Sawyer as she rises to the top of the high school social ladder after being taken under the wing of the three cruel girls known as the Heathers. The show’s songs include “Dead Girl Walking”, “Candy Store,” and “Seventeen.”
Why this run matters
The production has seen sold-out runs in London, New York, and Melbourne, with a 2025 New York return recording the venue’s biggest advance sale in history. Manila’s run lands in a season of international productions at The Theatre at Solaire, following the same venue hosting the Attack on Titan symphony in 2027.
