It’s Showtime Karaokids delight with guessing game

MANILA, Philippines — “It’s Showtime,” one of the Philippines’ beloved TV shows, is set to add more fun and entertainment with its newest segment, “Karaokids.” This exciting addition promises to brighten the new year for the show’s devoted audience, known as the “madlang people.”

In this innovative twist to the well-loved Filipino pastime of karaoke, “Karaokids” features the adorable singing talents of the returning Batang Cute Po kids – Argus, Jaze, Kulot, Imogen, and Kelsey. The show’s hosts engage in a guessing game, attempting to correctly identify the song titles performed by these young talents.

The segment unfolds with four pairs of “It’s Showtime” hosts competing to guess two songs within a two-minute timeframe from their selected ‘karaokid.’ The fastest pair secures a win of P10,000 and advances to the jackpot round.

During the jackpot round, the winning duo faces the challenge of guessing three songs. Each correct guess corresponds to cash prizes of P5,000, P10,000, and P15,000, accumulating to a potential pot of P50,000.

Much like previous segments, the total cash prize gets distributed among the madlang people, chosen by the hosts to perform random acts of kindness in the streets.

Viewers are urged not to miss the excitement and joy brought by “It’s Showtime” airing Mondays to Fridays at 11:30 AM and Saturdays at 12 NN on various platforms such as A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, GTV, ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel, Facebook page, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV. For online viewers, “Showtime Online U” can be enjoyed on It’s Showtime’s YouTube channel.

The “Karaokids” segment proves to be a delightful fusion of talent, entertainment, and interactive fun, ensuring that “It’s Showtime” continues to captivate audiences with its innovative and engaging content.
