Non-profit organization, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Alabang, recently organized a medical mission in Alabang Elementary School in Cupang, Muntinlupa called “UNited4aCause” to help more than 500 people receive medical assistance.

JCI Alabang is an organization composed of young entrepreneurs, businessmen, politicians, and corporate managers mostly based in Alabang, Muntinlupa, committed to the path of positive change. This year, with the help of the office of Muntinlupa and Councilor Robert Baes with son Lester Baes, the non-profit organization chapter started 2016 by giving back to its community where people are in need of medical attention.

The medical mission that included a feeding program, free haircut and health check-up with X-ray and ECG all happened in the basketball court of Alabang Elementary School in Cupang, Muntinlupa City. It was an entire morning full of goodwill, fellowship and camaraderie amongst the members of JCI Alabang and the people of Muntinlupa City.

“I thought of doing this project because this is what I wanted to do for our community, and with the help of JCI Alabang, we were able to make a difference to the individuals of the barangay,” said JCI Alabang Community Development Director, Ton Baes. “I am so happy that this event was a huge success!”, stressed Baes.

“What a fulfilling experience! JCI Alabang helped serve more than 500 individuals in an initiative to bring healthcare to the poor families of Muntinlupa,” said JCI Alabang President RJ Paguyo. “This is the first of many activities we have in line for the year and we are calling out to more people to help us create a positive change in the city of Muntinlupa.” Paguyo added.
