MANILA, Philippines – The entire community of Moovz users from all over the world strongly condemned the atrocious killing of Jennifer Laude, a 26-year-old transgender woman from the Philippines who have been found dead inside a motel in Olongapo City.

This brutal crime is another hard punch to the LGBT community on its vigorous effort to achieve equal treatment for everyone regardless of the sexual orientation or gender identity.

“Our duty as a global online community is to stand for the rights of the LGBT and to increase the awareness of the public and make them understand that everyone is FREE and EQUAL to live in a safe environment regardless of one’s gender identity or sexual orientation. This tragic killing of Jennifer Laude is beyond imaginable. No one has the right to take someone’s life based on gender identity. Therefore, our strong global team together with our users will stand with the Filipino LGBT groups by all means until the justice is served!” says Liav Eliash, CEO & Co-Founder of Moovz.

Thousands of Moovz users also joined the struggle by sharing their personal thoughts and support online with the “hashtag” #JusticeforJennifer.

In addition, several worldwide celebrities and Brand Ambassadors of Moovz like Chris Salvatore, had also expressed their personal thoughts towards the issue.

Lastly, Moovz is conducting a “Global Vigil” in response to the out loud call of the Filipino LGBT community for the nationwide Day of Outrage to be held in different cities in the Philippines.
