A Filipina singer based in Australia turned four coaches in one swift moment on The Voice Australia. Jeramie Sanico Heitmann earned a four chair turn during the Season 15 blind auditions with a powerful rendition of Celine Dion’s ‘Because You Loved Me’, and she is now part of Team Richard under Richard Marx.
Four chairs, one song
Per GMA News, Richard Marx was the first to turn, followed by Ronan Keating, Kate Miller-Heidke and Melanie C. Getting all four chair turns on a reality singing contest is the strongest possible first impression, and the clip, shared by The Voice Australia on Instagram on August 17, quickly drew praise, including from fellow Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez.
Her Pinoy roots
Jeramie is no newcomer to stage contests. She competed in ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ on It’s Showtime, dating back to 2016, before moving to Australia where she kept competing and performing. That experience shows in her stage presence and vocal control, and it is why Filipino fans have been quick to claim her run.

A growing streak of Pinoy global moments
Jeramie’s run lands in a strong season for Filipino talent abroad, from Sofronio Vasquez’s win on the American The Voice to Filipino acts finding audiences on stages in Australia and Asia, where OPM performers regularly headline. How far she goes on Team Richard will be the next chapter Filipino viewers tune in for.
