The Voice Coach Lea Salonga was attacked by netizens suspecting that her tweet about “Kababawan” was pertaining to AlDub.

Eat Bulaga Host Joey de Leon posted a series of tweets in response to Broadway Diva Lea Salonga’s tweet on “Kababawan.”

Bigyan ako ng Dalawampu’t Limang Milyon, Anim na Raang Libong dahilan bakit may “kababawan” ang Kalyeserye. Baka KABEBEWAN! (also see #ALDubEBforLOVE hits 25 Million tweets in 24 hours on National Pabebe Wave Day)

The “Eat Bulaga” host also said: “Hindi naman pala daw AlDub pinatatamaan ni Lea. Baka naman yung kabila? Nagtatanong lang po.”

“Baka naman yung tuwit ni Lea “in General” kaya kay General na lang sya magpaliwanag, he added.”

“Mga tao sa labas at nagsasaya huwag mong ihusga kung nasa lungga ka! Sa lungga ka na lang at di mo sila kilala! #ALDUBThisMustBeLove.”

“Ayaw nila nang MABABAW kaya NASA ILALIM SILA! #ALDUBThisMustBeLove,” he said.

De Leon further asked his followers on their opinion about celebrities who do have not know the phenomenal loveteam.

“Ano masasabi nyo sa mga taga-showbiz na nagsasabi na HINDI sila pamilyar sa Aldub? Nagse-survey lang po. #ALDUBandPROUD,” he tweeted. (also see 10 signs you are a certified #ALDUBNation)

Before Joey de Leon’s controversial tweets, Netizens already slammed Lea for her tweet which she posted the day after the National babe wave day which drew 25.6 million tweets for the hashtag #ALDUBEBforlove

Okay lang sa akin ang kababawan, pero hanggang doon na lamang ba tayo? #NagtatanongLangPo

The West end star answered immediately to the tweets against her post and denied that she did not pertain to Aldub.

“Uhmmm… I have no idea what’s going on. Why did people assume I was tweeting about AlDub? I wasn’t. I don’t know about it. So why the hate?”

“For those of you that replied about BALANCE, you rock my world. That’s what I was after. We all need fun, but that can’t be all there is,” she said.

“Ang daming judgmental at defensive dito. Haaaaay, di niyo na-gets ang tweet ko.”

The Voice Coach is now in New York to perform in the revival of stage play “Allegiance.”

Is it really true that Lea doesn’t pertain to Aldub fandom as “Kababawan?” If not, in which or to whom the tweet is related to? Your thoughts?
