LG Leon [review]

LG Leon

Budget-friendly yet with a quality of a good smartphone. That’s the way I would describe the LG Leon.

It comes with 4.5inch display with resolution about 854 x 400 pixels. The screen is smaller than LG spirit.

BUY: LG Leon bundled with 3000 mAh powerbank (5,990 PHP on Lazada)

It is powered by 1.2 GHz or 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is also supported by 1GB of RAM to give better performance.

The dimension of this handset is about 129.9 x 64.9 x 10.9mm.

The Leon provides dual cameras including 8MP (LTE variant) / 5MP (3G variant) rear camera with led flash. There is also huge 5MP front-facing camera for take selfie and also video calls.

Just like the LG Magna, I also notice lag when pressing the capture button. Still photos were good, not much on action shots.

It has 8GB of ROM which is also expandable using micro SD card slot to store photos, videos and also music. I suggest getting an card with a large capacity. The internal memory got full immediately after installing a few social media apps and games like Clash of Clans.

The features of connectivity provided is complete including WiFi b/g/n, 4G LTE, 3G, Micro USB, GPS, Bluetooth and audio jack 3.5mm.

Price-wise, definitely affordable with an SRP of Php5,990 (bundled with 3000 mAh powerbank on Lazada). If you’re not much on the high-end type of smartphone, this will be one of the best options in the list.
