MANILA, Philippines (Aug. 2026) – Vision is officially coming out of hiding as Marvel Television’s “VisionQuest” locks in its exclusive premiere on Disney+ to conclude an epic superhero trilogy. The all-new original series is scheduled to debut on Oct. 14, wrapping up the storyline that began with the groundbreaking “WandaVision” in 2021 and continued through 2024’s “Agatha All Along.”

A synthetic avenger on the run

The upcoming series follows the Vision, played by Paul Bettany, who has been living in hiding after escaping from those who wanted to turn him into a weapon. In his search for new meaning, the rebooted android consults the artificial intelligence personas embedded in his own programming. His list of digital counselors includes F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and his infamous creator, Ultron, with James Spader returning to voice the iconic villain.

Vision’s quiet life comes to an abrupt end when a bounty is placed on his head. The situation forces him to go on the run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious young boy who may be the reincarnated son of the Avenger. To survive, Vision must outrun his captors, face his true nature, and resist the dangerous influence of Ultron while figuring out the true identity of his young companion.

The team behind the quest

The star-studded cast also features Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Lauren Morais, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Emily Hampshire, and James D’Arcy.

On the creative side, Terry Matalas serves as the showrunner, head writer, and executive producer. Joining him in the writers’ room are Cindy Appel, Christopher Monfette, Nicole Falsetti, and Matthew Okumura. The series features episodes directed by Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali, and Matalas himself. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige serves as an executive producer alongside Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Mary Livanos, Jac Schaeffer, and Byrne.

Pinoy fans can watch the first look by checking out the official trailer and downloading promotional materials from the Disney+ asset folder. The entire Marvel Television catalog, alongside other films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, remains available for streaming on Disney+ Philippines.
