New season of “Casa Daza” is set to feature well-loved recipes from Chef Sandy and his mom’s cookbook


MANILA, Philippines – Acclaimed chef Sandy Daza welcomes food lovers in his kitchen anew to enjoy good food and meaningful stories in “Casa Daza” season 6 beginning this Sunday (August 28) at 12 nn on Metro Channel.

“Casa Daza’s” first two episodes will spotlight Chef Sandy’s specials like crab and broccoli dip, baked seafood, dulong burgers, and more easy-to-follow recipes that are perfect for family get-togethers.

For the third episode, the renowned chef will share recipes of his mom, the late Nora Daza, from the “Let’s Cook with Nora – New Edition” cookbook like pork afritada, poached fish with hollandaise sauce, and beef with spring onions.

The next episode will demonstrate some of Chef Sandy’s recipes from his cookbook “Cooking with Sandy Daza,” including shantung pampano, hot and sour soup, and mongo with beef kenchi.

Viewers may also learn about sous vide cooking in an upcoming episode of “Casa Daza,” featuring New York cut steak, pork chops with mushroom gravy, and anchovy pasta to complement.

More yummy dishes are in store in November perfect for home cooking in celebration of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
