There is a first time for everything, so they say…First Love, First Kiss, First Bunjee Jumping, First Salary, First Medal, First Beauty Title, First Heartbreak etc, etc and so the list of 1st continues…
But what about your First ever Vlog series on YouTube that deals with your passion for travel and food?
That is the latest adventure talented and brilliant actress Ms. Sylvia Sanchez just embarked on a few months ago in between her television series tasks for her resident network. We all know that Ms. Sylvia who has been active in the film industry for 30 years is a super great character artista and with this God-given gift, it has taken her a long, long way with various character roles which she portrays with sincerity and gusto. Give her any role and she will nail it more than you expect it. That's why even in her beautiful more than mid 40's status, happily married with five children, she is still one of the country's sought after character actress.
And very recently in an intimate blogcon held at Bizu Patisserie in Promenade, Greenhills, where Ms Sylvia is also a regular goer, she formally launched her first ever travel and food show, "Sylviahera" airing on YouTube 12:01AM of Christmas Day December 25, 2018.
Just simply visit @CasaNieves.TV on Facebook and YouTube to catch its very exciting pilot episode that will go back to her roots as an aspiring actress back then in far away Agusan del Norte in Mindanao.
Before becoming the Sylvia Sanchez that she is now, her family and close friends and kababayan from way down south will remember her as Jossette Campo, daughter of a retired seafarer. She married a handsome Arturo Atayde, from a Spanish family and they have four wonderful children fondly called, Arjo, Ria,Gela and Xavi. But prior to Arjo, there was Pia Marie from a past relationship which Ms. Sylvia had at a young age of 17.
Travel and food are perhaps the two topmost aspects that bind Ms Sylvia and her closely-knit family together. Now that both Arjo and Ria are super busy with their showbiz work and commitments, as a loving and caring mother, she makes sure she nurtures and cooks for them as regularly as she can and glues the rest of the kids together during special occasions and family affairs.
Thanks to Instagram where most the family are actively engaged on, we can see and feel the happiness and joy our winning actress feels everytime she and her precious family are together.
"Sylviahera" will feature Ms Sylvia's many travels and what makes a trip more fun and exciting are the food of the locals living in that place which she will highlight and share with her mixed audience online.
We viewed a special teaser of the show where in all dress down, we saw a very raw and naturally casual Ms. Sylvia sans make up and stylish clothes mingling with locals, exploring things and trying out the local food popular in a countryside.
"Dito niyo ako makikita na walang make up, simple lang." she states as a matter of fact.
She shared that one Christmas morning, she went to her hometown alone, built a box that transforms into a one-burner kitchen, and decides to embark into a culinary adventure with a goal of finding ingredients, learning new recipes, and bond with mothers who are also going through the same situation--and eventually rekindle simple, warm moments with the family that she implores to keep together, no matter what.
Of course, "Sylviahera" will not be possible without the help and guidance of long time director-friend Dante Nico Garcia, a writer, production designer, TV director, actor at times and independent film producer/director among many, many hats.
Direk Dante recalls, "We were just talking about this concept of travel and food one time and one idea led to another and here we are."
Hailing from Cuyo in Palawan, Direk Dante has no script for the show, but they do have bullets as the main points to what highlights an episode.
And Ms. Sylvia is enjoying the spontaneity and natural flow of her first official online adventure Vlog that will certainly reach more audience especially to all the mothers who can relate to her passion and status as a busy mom but finds time in becoming the best that she is in what she does for her career and foremost, her devotion to family.
I spotted this very recent Instagram photo of Ms. Sylvia and family's trip to Changmai, Thailand. Now who would not want to be this close to an adorable elephant? She definitely considers all her travels with family and friends as priceless.
I am also grateful and thankful as an onlne entertainment content creator for I get to meet and get to know rare gems like Ms. Sylvia far, far better from what I see on television and the big screen in cinemas.
I have greatly admired Ms Sylvia in her genuine portrayal as a mother stricken with Alzheimer's in The Greatest Love. She nailed that one hands down!
Her film, The Trial, opposite John Lloyd Cruz, Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barreto with a dear common friend composer and musical composer/actor Vincent de Jesus is an alll time fave!
Sylviahera is a mother’s journey that will tell us that no matter how seldom a family eats together, it is how much love and preparation you put into it that will make it special and memorable.
Please don't fail to watch and support "Sylviahera" ....
