Filipino-American podcasters bring their hit show “Over a Glass or Two” to the FYE Channel


MANILA, Philippines – Get ready with your favorite drink every Saturday morning and listen to the engrossing conversations featuring global Filipinos in “Over A Glass Or Two (OAGOT),” the new FYE channel show premiering on kumu this Saturday (July 30) at 10 am.

“OAGOT” is a virtual tête-à-tête hosted by Filipino-Americans Jessy Daing and Jesse “Jcas” Castro featuring interesting celebrities and personalities, inspiring overseas Filipino workers, and successful entrepreneurs who gamely talk about their journey to success and outlook on relevant issues over a glass of their favorite drink.

The pandemic-born podcast in the US has become a hit among Filipinos worldwide who tune in via Apple Podcast, Pandora, Spotify, and Stitcher, and through iHeartRadio, Facebook and YouTube. Its previous guests include Angel Locsin, Martin Nievera, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

Now on FYE Channel, “OAGOT” is ready to liven up Saturdays in the kumunity to showcase Filipino talents, values, and tradition, inspire and raise awareness, bridge the gap among Pinoys of different generations, and put a smile on the viewers’ faces.

New Jersey-based Jessy is a professional make-up artist who also works as a regional manager in an investment-banking firm, while Brooklyn-based Jcas is a billing manager for a top New York cancer hospital. The longtime friends and engaging hosts used to lead the blocktime show “IAmFilAm” on The Filipino Channel.

Jessy and Jcas will chat with The Master Alex Calleja, who will talk about his journey as a stand-up comedian, writer, and host in the pilot episode of “OAGOT.”
