Pentiment, Obsidian Entertainment’s critically acclaimed narrative adventure, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game, which was originally released on Xbox and PC in November 2022, has been praised for its unique visual style, engaging story, and impactful choices.
Set in the 16th century Bavarian Alps, Pentiment puts players in the shoes of Andreas Maler, a journeyman artist who becomes embroiled in a series of murders and scandals. As Andreas navigates the complex political and religious landscape of the time, his choices will have far-reaching consequences for himself and the community around him.
Pentiment features a hand-drawn art style inspired by historical manuscripts and woodcuts, and its story unfolds over a period of 25 years. Players will engage in conversations, solve puzzles, and make decisions that will shape the course of the narrative.
