Remember the ’80s hit Latino band MENUDO? The very same Puerto Rican band that launched the singing career of pop superstar Ricky Martin and bandmate Robby Rosa.
Now here comes CNCO for the very first time in the Philippines!
CNCO won the first season of the hit reality singing competition and Latin American counterpart of Pinoy Boyband Superstar – La Banda!
Say a warm HOLA! to Christopher Velez (Ecuador), Richard Camacho (Dominican Republic), Joel Pimental (Mexico), Erick Brian Colón (Cuba), and Zabdiel de Jesus (Puerto Rico). Primarily singing songs in Spanish, the boys are also well versed in the English language.
The boys came from their first Asian Tour Leg in Japan. Followed by the Philippines and Indonesia.
Here in Manila, they first had a mall show at SM City Cebu which packed their atrium to the hilt! Cebuanos who are "CNCO owners" all came out to support their fave boyband.
Last year, CNCO worked with Little Mix for a remix version of "Reggaeton Lento."
Prior to their packed guesting and 3rd mall show at The Block activity center of the SM North Edsa, CNCO also wowed a huge crowd turn out at SM Fairview last Saturday Sept 15 weekend despite Typhoon Ompong's nasty wind and heavy rains.
The boys dished out their latest single, “Se Vuelve Local”. It's release is accompanied by a Spanglish version of the track. Bilingual and English-speaking audiences will be able to enjoy this new take on the song, which follows the band’s global vision.
CNCO is also known for their unique affinity for dancing and energetic personalities that's why millions of fans can easily relate to them since their musical debut in 2015.
These fast rising and ever guapo boys also entertained questions at their The Block show by sharing that among the local female Pinoy celebrities they like are Bea Alonzo and KZ Tandingan.
A visually-impaired lucky fan named Angeline was picked out from the crowd which made her so speechless like Cloud 9 feels! She also got warm hugs and besos from Joel, Richard, Christopher, Erick and Zabdiel.
Aren't they all soooo sweet?!
Come back again next year for a full concert por favor?
