Staying true to its promise, Robinsons Bank caps off its 25th Anniversary Celebration by making a donation worth Php 320,000 to the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), which will help fund the education of its scholars.

Early this year, one of the activities that the Bank launched as part of the celebration of its Silver Year is the “The Future is Bright” Program wherein RBank donated 0.50 centavos to the scholarship fund for every eligible transaction they make including e PesoNet, RBank Remit, QuickR and Bills Payment.

“It is very momentous for Robinsons Bank to have reached 25 years in the industry and we are very thankful for the trust and support that we have from our customers and stakeholders. That’s why we launched this program because we want to express our gratitude by giving back to the community,” RBank President & CEO Elfren Antonio Sarte stated.

GBF and Rbank will be selecting two (2) outstanding alumni from the Marcial O. Rañola Memorial School who will be receiving full college scholarships under the GBF’s Juan Community program. They will be given educational support in the forms of financial grants, learning and development trainings, and internship opportunities.

“We would like to thank Robinsons Bank for partnering with us in helping build a brighter future for the students under the GBF Juan Community. The scholarship fund raised will truly create an impact in the lives of our youth and celebrates the 25th anniversary milestone of Robinsons Bank in a lasting way,” GBF Executive Director Grace Colet said.

For three consecutive years, Robinsons Bank has been striving to give back to the communities it serves. In 2020, RBank donated tablets to children of TODA drivers to help them cope in the sudden shift to online learning, while in 2021, the Bank gifted ER nurses with a bank account that comes with Php 2,000. The Bank also continues to promote financial literacy to young children by adopting various public schools.

Robinsons Bank ranks 18th among universal and commercial banks in the country, with assets amounting to Php 176.93 Bn as of December 2021. RBank has been recognized as the Fastest Growing Commercial Bank for four consecutive years by various award-giving bodies such as the World Economic Magazine, The Global Business Magazine Review, The International Business Magazine, and Global Business Outlook.
