MANILA, Philippines – Did you miss the phenomenal Japanese live-action movie “Rurouni Kenshin” on the big screen?

Don’t fret because the number one anime channel in the Philippines, Hero TV, is finally giving you the first installment of this three-part series based on the 90’s top rating anime, “Samurai X.”

Relive the action and the epic swordfights between the wandering swordsman Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh of “Kamen Rider”), widely-known as Hittokiri Battousai, an assassin for the government in the Meiji era, and Jin’e Udo (Koji Kikkawa), who works for cruel business man Kanryu Takeda (Teruyuki Kagawa).

Joining Kenshin are his trusted allies – Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei), Sanosuke Sagara (Munetaka Aoki), Yahiko Myojin (Taketo Tanaka), Megumi Takani (Yu Aoi), and Hajime Saito (Yosuke Eguchi).
