PHILIPPINES – Samsung today announces the availability of the Galaxy A71, an upper mid-range Android smartphone that touts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen and a quad-camera module.

Aimed at content creators, the newest addition to the A-series comes only days Samsung revealed its flagship Galaxy S20 Series and the Galaxy Z Flip.

Running on an octa-core Snapdragon 730 platform, it opens more creative opportunities through four cameras: a 64MP f/1.8 wide-angle main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, as well as a 5MP depth sensor.

It is capable of taking 2160p videos at 30FPS, or 1080p videos at up to 240FPS.

Not to be left behind, its front-facing camera takes 32MP pictures and 1080p videos at 30FPS.

The cameras do not have OIS, however, Samsung touts its EIS (electronic image stabilization) capabilities, calling it the “Super Steady Video” feature.

It has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W Super-Fast Charging, which, according to Samsung, is enough for all-day shooting.

In the Philippines, the Galaxy A71 is priced at Php 22,990. It is available in three colors: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Silver, and Prism Crush Blue.
