Sinag Maynila 2018 entries are now being accepted

MANILA, Philippines – Two full-length feature films from last year’s Sinag Maynila Film Festival have qualified for the Tokyo International Film Festival.

SMFF 2017 Best Film winner Tu Pug Imatuy (The Right to Kill) by Arbi Barbarona will be competing in the Asian Future Category, while the equally award-winning film Kristo by HF Yambao is featured in the Crosscut Asia Section.

Aside from showcasing top-notch independent films like Tu Pug Imatuy and Kristo on the international stage Sinag Maynila aims to discover more talented and creative minds in this year’s Film Festival.

Now on its fourth year, Sinag Maynila Film Festival 2018: Sine Lokal, Pang-Internasyonal is now accepting finished full-length feature films, short films, and documentary.

The winning film will get the chance to win (2) roundtrip tickets to attend an international festival in 2018.
