Such is the opportunity that is at stake for the grand winners of Taiwan Excellence’s “Your Song of Excellence” online singing competition.
A new breed of champions (1 Male, 1 Female and 1 Group winner) is set to come home richer in experience and in prizes this October 30 at the “Your Song of Excellence” Grand Finals courtesy of the show’s Premier Partners.
A recording deal from Ivory Music, together with over half a million prize pool composed of cash prizes and premium personal care items from Taiwan Excellence’s partners and reliable dream makers, Aromase, a brand that prides itself in ensuring the wellness of the people’s scalp with products that offer lasting effects, and Ju Tian Cleantech, a company that is dedicated into transforming natural wasted resources into eco-friendly and useful materials, are all set to jumpstart the personal and professional lives of the grand prize winners.
After besting the 45 other regional finalists and making it into the top 3 grand finalists of their respective categories, 9 performers from different regions in the country are inching closer and closer into making their dreams a reality.
Under the Male Division there are Lloyd Sarausos, Renz Robosa, and Jeltrud Arnaiz, meanwhile, Edel Sanchez Quibol, Kyla Jose, and Julia Faith Joaquin have made it under the Female Division. Wrapping up the roster are the group grand finalists composed of Monzter Jam, Septemberryfield, and Barra.
These finalists will be going head-to-head in order to gain the approval of the esteemed panel of judges of “Your Song of Excellence” composed of the country’s finest OPM gems Bituin Escalante, Jay Durias, Frenchie Dy, and Paulo Zarate.
The public may then vote for their favorite grand finalist to become the grand winner. Voting for their favorite, male, female, and group finalists will start from October 24 to October 28 at the Taiwan Excellence Facebook Page (https://m.facebook.com/TaiwanExcellence.ph). They may support their chosen singer by commenting the hashtag of the finalist together with the contest’s official hashtags: #YourSongOfExcellence, #TaiwanExcellencePH, and #ExcellenceEveryday.
Adding some spice in leveling up the competition during the grand finals, supporters of the finalists have the option to do a Booster Vote. This specific vote can instantly gain the chosen contender some 50 votes simply by buying any item at the Taiwan Excellence Shopee Page (https://shopee.ph/taiwan_excellence?v=d41&smtt=0.0.3). In order to activate the Booster Vote, the voter must add the item order ID at the Taiwan Excellence comments section.
All grand finalists would then be judged based on the following criteria: 40% online votes, 25% voice quality, 25% creative musicality and 10% stage presence.
Paulo especially noted how the performers have offered different takes on their songs.
“This is a singing competition so you have to move up,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bituin pointed out the notable elements of group performances when she said,
“When you have solid harmonies and when you go in sync, a song is so easy to enjoy.”
