MANILA, Philippines (Jul 2026) — Finding a portable workstation that does not require buying expensive extra accessories just got easier for Pinoy students and remote workers. The new TECNO Megapad 2 officially launches in the country on August 1, packed with built-in LTE connectivity and a free Bluetooth keyboard included in every purchase.
Built for working on the go
The device targets users who need to stay productive anywhere without hunting for public Wi-Fi networks. Measuring just 6.6 millimeters thick, the tablet features a full metal body designed to fit easily into backpacks. It also features the OneLeap Ecosystem, which allows users to relay tasks from a compatible smartphone straight to the tablet without repeating steps.
Immersive screen and AI tools
For entertainment and online classes, the tablet comes with a 2.5K eye-care large display designed to reduce fatigue during long hours of reading, spreadsheet editing, or video streaming. It also integrates an AI Education Assistant. Instead of performing basic web searches, this tool helps users organize notes, understand complex topics, and draft text outputs.
Pricing and Philippine availability
Pinoys can choose between three color options: Light Green, Space Grey, and Cosmic Orange. The tablet goes on official sale on Aug. 1, 2026.
