Puregold and Globe partner up in uplifting MSMEs for the return of Tindahan ni Aling Puring Negosyo Convention


MANILA, Philippines – As the country bounces back from the dragging impact of the pandemic, Puregold and Globe have come together to help uplift MSMEs, especially sari-sari stores and communities, through technological innovation.

The Tindahan ni Aling Puring Negosyo Convention returned this year as Puregold and Globe continue their advocacy for the digital empowerment of Filipinos.

The occasion also marked the birth of a new product, the Aling Puring app, the result of synergy between Puregold’s nationwide reach and vast network of partner sari- sari stores, and Globe’s pioneering digital innovations.

The Aling Puring app is a one-stop digital shop that enables sari-sari stores to transact in digital services such as tri telco load, cash-in, and bills payments. This app was developed by leading platform technology provider, ECPay, also part of the Globe Group.

“With the lockdowns, a lot of sari-sari store owners were forced to close their stores as they lacked capital. And with over 600,000 sari-sari store partners, hand-in-hand Puregold will be there in their journey towards recovery. And the innovation doesn’t stop there. Puregold and Globe are also pioneering a retail format that aims to move the community towards greater digital adoption: the Puregold-Globe EasyHubs.

A first-in-the-market initiative, these EasyHubs are digital hubs that showcase an omni-channel experience of services of both Puregold and Globe. Offering a frictionless shopping experience, the EasyHubs allow customers to use the Puregold mobile app with a wide selection of Puregold groceries. On top of this, it has exclusive Globe products, from Globe postpaid to 0917 Lifestyle, that can be delivered straight to their home.
